I came to this work as a Certified Online Business Manager, trained to help businesses run smoothly enough that they are primed to scale and their owners can step away from day-to-day operations. I decided to take that skillset and apply it to nonprofits in my community. Because that’s really where my heart is and my people are. I want to see the nonprofits in my community live out their missions for years to come, and I want the people who are making it happen to enjoy making it happen rather than feeling burned out.

And that’s because it’s such a great indicator for how well your operations are running. When operations are smooth and team members are empowered, you have more time. And when you have more time, you can take vacations and attend to the true leadership tasks that only you can do and will take the organization to the next level.
